Overcoming
Adversity,
will take place
next Wednesday,

Billauer

FACULTY FLEX CONTRACT
FORMS DUE NO LATER THAN
NEXT FRIDAY |
|
Last week, all full-time
faculty should have
received a copy of the
Faculty Flex Contract
2007 in their campus
mailbox. The document
outlines the policies
involved regarding flex
credit and includes a
form due no later
than Friday, May 9.
The purpose of the
flexible calendar is to
provide time for faculty
to participate in
development activities
that are related to
"staff, student, and
instructional
improvement." Since the
flexible calendar
program removes time
from the instructional
program, it is a
reasonable expectation
that use of this time
should foster
instructional
improvement.
If you have any
questions about
specific activities
and whether they
qualify for FLEX
credit, please
contact Interim
Staff Development
Coordinator, Brandon
Floerke. Extension

DONATIONS NEEDED
FOR ANNUAL STUDENT
PARENTS RECOGNITION
LUNCHEON |
The CalWORKs and
CARE programs are
preparing for their
Annual Student
Parents Recognition
Luncheon, which will
be held on Friday,
May 9at 11:00 am in
the College Center.
Each year, the
luncheon recognizes
the successes as
well as the
obstacles these
students overcome in
their quest to
achieve
self-sufficiency and
create a brighter
future for their
children.
In the past, though
the generosity of
the Fullerton
