| Health Services hosting annual Substance Abuse Awareness Day Fair |

Fullerton College Health Services will be hosting its annual Substance Abuse Awareness Day Fair on Thursday, October 11 from 10 am to 1 pm on the Quad. A crashed car provided by Mothers Against Drunk Driving will be on display. There will also be a speaker present to discuss the effects of alcohol and drugs, as well as representatives from local community agencies. Some of these organizations include: Alcoholics Anonymous, Marijuana Anonymous, Addiction Treatment Center, Gary Center, Positive Action, Al-Anon, Community Service Project, Fullerton P.D. and many more. Please come and show your support for these local organizations and encourage our students to participate. Certified alcohol and drug counselors will be on the seen to answer any questions. |
| Over 80 employers scheduled to attend annual Job Fair |

The Fullerton College Job Fair is taking place this Wednesday, October 10, from 10 am to 2 pm on the Quad. Over 80 employers will be participating - 30 of whom are Corporate Sponsors. This year, new companies will be offering jobs in areas not previously represented, such as: advertising, horticulture, auto repair/mechanics, radio broadcasting, and pharmacy technicians to name a few. Also, Monster Beverage Company will be giving free Monster Energy Drinks to students and staff who attend the job fair. Employers expect students to bring resumes to the job fair. There will be a resume drawing for a $25 Visa Card, and other gift cards and items will be given away as well. There will also be a Starbucks gift card for the instructor who has the most students turn in resumes sohave your students write your name on the back of their resume. | Flu Vaccine Clinic begins today |

Fullerton College Health Services is sponsoring its annual Flu Vaccine Clinic, beginning today, Monday, October 8. The clinic is available Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 12 pm and 1:30 pm - 4 pm; and Friday 8:30 am - 12 pm and 1:30 pm - 3 pm. Students, faculty, and staff are eligible for the clinic on a walk-in basis for only $20 per person. For more information, contact extension 27414. |
