President assumes new post

FULLERTON – Kathleen Hodge, president of Fullerton College since January 2004, has accepted the post of vice chancellor in charge of instruction at the North Orange County Community College District.
   Hodge, 60, assumes her new position today. Retired administrator Sam Schauerman has been named interim president, the same position he filled before Hodge was hired.
   In her new post with the district, which includes the college, she will oversee the district’s new master plan for education and facilities.
   “I am proud of the newly crafted programs in education (and the) development of an intercollegiate forensics team,” said Hodge, the seventh president to serve the campus.
